Fitness Classes

SCAR group fitness classes are taught in a small group training environment. Each of our instructors is trained to teach group fitness and is a specialist in health and fitness. Our group classes are fun, upbeat and designed to produce results. Group fitness classes are FREE or discounted for SCAR members. Walk-ins are welcome at a rate of $10 per class.

SCAR Fit Class

The SCAR Fit Class incorporates conditioning and light resistance exercises with high intensity interval training to give you the total body workout you need. You’ll use cutting edge training equipment and experience an innovative way to improve your ability to move and balance, increase strength and endurance, and create lean toned muscle. Get your new body with some hard work and a great time!

TRX Suspension Training Class

Free to SCAR Members

The TRX Suspension Training class is a workout system that leverages gravity and your body weight to perform countless different exercises. With the TRX Suspension Trainer you’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself – you simply adjust your body position to increase or decrease resistance. You’ll be guided by one of our certified TRX instructors to build a rock-solid core, increase muscular endurance and receive a fast, fun, effective total-body workout. Beginners: Mondays 8:00-8:30 a.m.
Intermediate: Wednesdays 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Intermediate: Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Beginning-Intermediate: Fridays 8:00 to 8:30 a.m.
Intermediate: Saturdays 10:00-11:00 a.m.


Pilates Group Mat Class

Pilates conditioning is a proven exercise system that gets you “in tune” with your body by concentrating on proper alignment and smooth movement patterns. It is effective for people of all ages, fitness levels and body types. Our certified Pilates instructor will take you through a Pilates mat class designed to:

  • Improve muscular strength and flexibility
  • Heighten body awareness
  • Correct posture and alignment
  • Improve balance and coordination
  • Enhance breathing control
  • Decrease pain and dysfunction

Stretch Class

Leo’s interactive stretch class uses an array of stretching techniques to increase not only flexibility but improve strength and balance. You will use the latest equipment including the TRX Suspension Trainer and Stretch Out Strap to give you the total body stretch you’ve been looking for. Learn new ways to move your body and feel great!
