Our Youth S.T.A.R.S. Performance Training programs provide young athletes with an effective, engaging, fun, and friendly environment to build athletic skills and abilities. They will have access to a team of certified sports medicine and performance experts.

Program Design & the S.T.A.R.S. Method

S.T.A.R.S. stands for Structure, Technique, Ability, Reaction, and Sports-Specific. There are five phases to the S.T.A.R.S. method:

The focus of this phase is fundamental gross motor skills. Athletes will participate in skills such as skipping, throwing, catching, shuffling, and more!

This phase is appropriate for kids with the ability to focus on the proper training of sports-essential skills, such as running, jumping, landing, squatting and more.

This phase is suitable for youth athletes who have a strong motor skill and movement technique base. Examples include speed, strength, and other adaptive skills.

This phase targets individuals capable of demonstrating accurate movement patterns at full speed. These individuals have the ability to adapt and react. Examples: Reaction Drills.

This phase is for athletes that have reached a level in their career in which performance improvements will manifest only from direct game-skill work. This phase indirectly trains sports-specific skills to train for injury prevention.
