Athletic Trainer

Daniela Medina was born and raised in Southern California and attended South Gate High School where she played basketball. Prior to graduating from high school, Daniela enlisted in the United States Army and shipped to basic training after graduating in 2002. Daniela has since served in the military for over 14 years and served in three combat tours to Kuwait and Iraq. Daniela attended Mount San Antonio College where she began taking athletic training courses and volunteering in the Athletic Training Room. She graduated in 2009 and received her Associates degree in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Kinesiology and Wellness. She transferred to California State University, Fullerton and received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science in 2013. Daniela then attended California Baptist University and received her Master’s degree in Athletic Training and became a certified Athletic Trainer in 2015. In June of 2014, Daniela served on a mission trip to East Africa where she and a team provided physiotherapy aid to the local community. Daniela currently serves as the athletic trainer for Canyon High School in Anaheim, CA. Daniela enjoys running 10Ks and half-marathons and biking. She lives in Diamond Bar with her husband and two English Bulldogs.
